Invented
by a veteran utility lineman, this hydraulic lifting
tool is designed to help make fast, permanent repairs
to mid-span breaks just as easily as at the pole reducing
time require to restore lines to service.
1) Position the lifting tool on the ground between
the two ends of the downed line
2) Extend the lift strap far enough to attach grips
to each end of downed line
3) Operate lift until lines are raised and meet
4) Install splice or connector
5) Remove lifting tool
Unit
has a 1,000 lb. capacity, weighs 35 lbs. and works
off of most 2,000 - 2,500 psi hydraulic power systems;
open or closed center. (bucket trucks, digger derricks,
skid-steers, portable power units, etc)
